Checkout the JavaScript errors and footer on maestrocard.com. My bet is the conversation went something like this:

Muppet #1: "Dude - I've just discovered this awesome thing called JavaScript!"

Muppet #2: "Wow - lets pretend it's the 90s, link to a # and use JavaScript for all the footer links!"

Muppet #1: "Yea! We could also work out the current year and make it appear using document.write!"

Sensible guy: "Why do you need to use JavaScript for this? Use server-side code."

Muppets #1 & #2: "Server what?"
